Veterans, mark your calendars! The NJ Reentry Corporation and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2294 are coming together to host a Veterans Outreach Event on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 11 AM to 2 PM at VFW Post 2294, 98 Oak Street, Jersey City, NJ 07304.

This special event is designed to connect veterans with essential services, resources, and community support all in one place. It is an opportunity for veterans of all backgrounds to access the help they need to thrive in civilian life.

Services Available:

Emergency and at-risk housing support
Addiction detox and treatment
Mental health and medical services, including hospital and prescription assistance
SNAP (food stamps) and general assistance
ID and driver’s license help along with DD214 applications
Housing referrals
Comprehensive veterans’ case management
Legal help for veterans with less than honorable discharges
Employment training and placement
Support with VA benefits and coordination with New Jersey agencies
To make the day even better, free haircuts will be provided by Real Deal Barber Shop.
