Vital Warrior’s Mission

TREATMENT CENTERS
Our mission is to reach as many individuals suffering from acute stress as fast as we can! A part of this goal is starting with our first facility in Southern California featuring all of Mikal’s modalities for treatment. With plans to open more facilities nation and world wide.

As we grow The mission of Vital Warrior is to develop decompression centers within close proximity to a military base yet the center will be accessible to all. Each fully developed Vital Warrior Center will provide alternative therapies that address trauma on a brain-body basis. The philosophy is to provide clients with non-pharmaceutical solutions to healing, including hands-on-therapy, knowledge and skills to regaining a re-connection from within through hormonal re-balancing. Veterans especially, suffer from PTS and TBI and often disassociate from their families, friends and even themselves. What they need is a personalized approach to their healing. Vital Warrior’s vision and mission is to help clients reconnect to their lives, their families and their communities.

VITAL WARRIOR MOBILE UNIT
In addition to our first facility Mikal wants to take it on the road with the Vital Warrior Mobile Unit stacked with modalities that over a nationwide campaign visit communities where individuals may not be able to access these types of treatment. After a multiple state tour the Vital Warrior Modality along with Mikal’s message will help generate awareness, support and most of all help to those around the country that need it!

OVERCOMING PTS AND PREFACE TO THE MODALITIES

What Mikal discovered on his long road to healing is that pharmaceutical remedies only masked the root problem.

Realizing that he needed far more than talk therapy, Mikal took the reins on his own therapy treatment. He began working with non-pharmaceutical solutions to healing, including hands-on therapy. He opened himself up to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to reconnect himself from within and transform his post-traumatic stress to a viable strength.

By using a menu of self-paced therapies himself, Mikal has overcome many of the challenges that PTS (Post Traumatic Stress) and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) can impose on an individual. In sharing these therapies with fellow civilian veterans, Vita Warrior can help an individual re-enter life with a renewed sense of purpose and change into a higher, more capable version of the previous selves. Mikal’s personal recovery is evidence of how powerful this treatment is.

The modalities encompass the full treatment and life changes that have helped Mikal overcome his personal challenges.

F.I.R.S.T. – FAR INFRARED SPECTRUM THERAPY
At Vital Warrior we use Far Infrared Ray (FIR) saunas instead of traditional steam saunas. FIR, also known as far-infrared sauna, is different than what we’re used to seeing in a spa or hotel. Instead of utilizing extreme, and possibly harmful, ambient temperatures, FIR uses beneficial far-infrared wavelength to raise core body temperature. Medical research indicates that FIR is helpful for relieving acute stress-related conditions.

MAYOFASCIAL RELEASE
Myofascial Therapy is a category of hands-on, body-centered, massage or physical therapy techniques which use firm, sustained & angled pressure on specific areas of the body in order to release adhesions, movement restrictions & emotional tensions within the myofascia.

ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is a safe and effective natural therapy that is used to heal illness, prevent disease and improve well-being. Tiny, hair-thin needles are inserted into specific points in the body, where they are gently stimulated to trigger the body’s natural healing response. Acupuncture is effective for controlling pain and can regulate the body’s physiological functions to treat various internal dysfunction and disorders.

R.E.S.T. – RESTRICTIVE ENVIRONMENT SIMULATION THERAPY
Floatation therapy pools are filled with an Epson Salt solution that completely suspends the body in water. It creates the experience of a non-gravity chamber and total relaxation in addition to the medicinal benefits of magnesium sulfate.

TRE – TRAUMA RELEASE EXERCISE
Tension and Trauma Releasing exercises were originally developed to address the impacts of traumatic experiences on the body; however, we have come to learn that TRE benefits all people. Hurtful experiences, stress, and tension are part of everyone’s life and we often do not realize how these experiences are etched deep in the mind and body.

KUNDALINI YOGA
Yoga addresses stress mitigation in that it provides tools and techniques our clients can turn to for effective non-pharmaceutical relief. Through continued practice the practitioner begins to develop a resilience to stress eventually negating the urge to react to events and circumstances that used to be triggers.

While Kundalini Yoga is Vital Warrior’s top choice in breathework and meditation, there are other alternatives to choose from to fit the individual’s needs and schedule.

MEDITATION AND TAPPING
Meditation is a practice in which an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or as an end in itself.

Tapping known as EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or EFT tapping, simply stated, is an emotional version of acupuncture, but without the use of needles. Instead, you tap with your fingertips on key energy meridian points on your face and body.

MENTORING
Vital Warrior’s last modality offers mentoring as a way to encourage, continue to help and guide an individual with their progress and development.
