Mental Health Outpatient Clinic
Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Services (MHOTRS) of the Hispanic Counseling Center offers comprehensive services for people with psychiatric and emotional problems. MHOTRS is dedicated to providing bilingual, bicultural mental health treatment services for children ages 5 to 18, and adults.

Domestic Violence Batterer’s Intervention Program
The Batterers’ Intervention – Domestic Violence Program is a 26 week, psycho-educational program that offers clients accused of domestic violence the opportunity to recall and reflect on violent actions, take responsibility for what they’ve done and change negative attitudes and violent behavior.

26 Weekly sessions are held virtually on Zoom or in person at the HCC offices in Hempstead.
Male clients meet weekly as a group; female clients accused of violent behavior meet individually with the counselor on a weekly basis.
