For the Spring 2021 semester, we are offering three virtual cohorts of our Veteran Career Readiness Program in addition to our location-based cohorts. These virtual cohorts are best suited for those individuals in more remote locations, those currently stationed overseas, or those who live anywhere that FourBlock does not currently have a presence.

If you do not see your city offered as one of our current program locations, you can apply to any of the three virtual cohorts based on your time zone or your preferred date and time. The Spring 2021 semester for the Virtual Cohort (Eastern Time Zone) of our Veteran Career Readiness Program will be held on Thursdays from February 11-April 15, 2021 at 6:30-9:00 PM ET.

Transitioning service members and veterans enrolled in the Virtual Cohort (Eastern Time Zone) will connect with employee representatives from different host companies each week to build professional relationships and learn essential career building skills that will aid in their transition from military service to meaningful civilian careers. 80% attendance is required to complete the program and reach alumni status.

At this time, all class sessions will take place virtually via Zoom to ensure the health and safety of all involved in response to COVID-19.

• Crafting Your Resumes
• LinkedIn and Your Online Professional Presence
• Interviewing Successfully
• Conducting a Job Market Assessment
• Mapping Your Career
• Navigating the Offer Process
• Succeeding in Your First 90 Days

FourBlock has joined forces with national learning company Prepare To Launch U to create a comprehensive, instructional career transition program for military spouses looking to return to work or pivot into new careers.

We recognize that it’s not just the service member who faces career challenges; their spouse does, too. Partnering with Prepare to Launch U and tapping into their expert knowledge and proven curriculum allows FourBlock to provide an experience for military spouses similar to the FourBlock cohort experience that we have offered to transitioning service members and veterans for the past 10 years.

The FourBlock-PTLU Military Spouse Career Transition Program will feature live video coaching, flexible online learning modules, and all of the instruction, tools, and inspiration a military spouse will need to navigate her or his way to a meaningful career. Military spouses who complete the program will also have access to an expanded community of FourBlock alumni, employers, and instructors for additional networking and mentorship. The program is offered at no cost.
