About Foundation for Women Warriors
Who We Serve
We support working and student women veterans during periods of transition by investing in their success.
We know that working and student veterans struggle with high housing costs, childcare expenses, or unexpected financial setbacks during the military to civilian transition. Our financial and childcare assistance programs are designed to help veterans build financial resilience, maintain stability, and achieve professional goals.
Eligibility
- An honorable or general discharge from the U.S. Military
- Must be employed (active and verifiable employment) and/or enrolled in higher education (college or certificate program)
- Unemployed veterans must work with an FFWW-approved partner organization to seek work.
- Demonstrate financial need
- Currently reside in California, Virginia, New York, or New Jersey
Eligibility is the first step in our financial assistance program application process. Those who demonstrate gross financial mismanagement and/or extreme debt will be referred to ongoing financial counseling.
