About Burlington County Veteran's Services
The Burlington County Department of Military and Veteran’s Services is totally dedicated to our military and veteran community. We work closely with all veteran organizations as well as the military bases to keep them informed of the most current information available from the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs as well as the New Jersey Department of Military and Veteran’s Affairs.
This department was established by the Board of County Commissioners to serve both active duty military personnel, and the veterans of Burlington County. There is one installation, Joint Base McGuire, Dix, LakeHurst. They have detachments from five military departments, Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. Additionally the county is home to many National Guard and Reserve members.
Our staff of 6 is totally dedicated to meeting the needs of the veterans of Burlington County. The office consists of our Division Head Evelyn Rosado, Deputy and Veteran Service Officer Jose Melendez, Principal Clerk Diane Johnson, Veteran’s Service Officer Sonya Bulluck, Veteran’s Service Officer Charlene Walker and Joe Mari – cemetery maintenance.
Our staff is very proud of the record of success we have established and view every phone call or visit to our office as an opportunity to improve our service.
