Adelphi University offers flexible educational pathways for veterans, active-duty service members, and their families, whether they’re starting college, finishing a bachelor’s degree, or pursuing graduate studies. Recognized by Colleges of Distinction for supporting veterans, Adelphi is also a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) Consortium and the Concurrent Admissions Program (ConAP), making it easier for military personnel to earn degrees while serving. Through the College of Professional and Continuing Studies, students can choose from undergraduate and graduate programs offered on campus, online, or in hybrid formats to fit their schedules.

Using the Post-9/11 GI Bill® and Other Military Benefits at Adelphi

Adelphi helps veterans and military students navigate VA education benefits by explaining available options, determining eligibility, and simplifying the financial aid process. As a Yellow Ribbon School, Adelphi also offers eligible students access to additional funding that may help cover tuition and other educational expenses.

How We Support Students Who Served 

Adelphi’s Veterans Resource Center connects veterans and military students with career development services, VA and community resources, and local military support agencies. The center also hosts social and educational events throughout the year, including visits from veterans’ mental health professionals.

Finding the Right Program

Adelphi’s admissions, financial aid, and registrar teams provide expert guidance on VA education benefits and military tuition programs. They also help students evaluate transfer credits from prior college coursework and military training to maximize progress toward their degree.
