According to a press release shared by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), approximately 180,000 veterans and other disability benefit recipients may have potential claims.

The bankruptcy court has extended the original filing deadline, giving affected veterans additional time to submit a Proof of Claim.
✅ Important: Filing a claim will NOT affect your VA disability benefits. Submitting a Proof of Claim does not, by itself, reduce, cancel, or change your VA disability rating or compensation.
