We are excited to share opportunities that bring healing, creativity, and community together. One powerful example is the Frontline Paper Workshop, where veterans and service members transform their military uniforms into handmade paper and meaningful works of art.

The process begins with participants cutting and pulping old uniforms, symbolically breaking down the past. From there, they create fresh sheets of paper, a tangible reminder that something new can emerge from experiences that once felt heavy. On this handmade paper, participants are invited to write, paint, or draw, sharing stories that might otherwise remain unspoken.

More than just an art workshop, Frontline Paper is about connection. Veterans and community members sit side by side, learning the craft, talking, and supporting each other. Every uniform carries its own history, and each sheet of paper becomes part of a collective story of resilience, service, and transformation.

Workshops are open to veterans, active-duty service members, and civilians alike. No artistic background is required, only a willingness to take part in the process.

Why It Matters
Healing through creativity: Art becomes a way to process experiences and emotions.
Community building: Veterans connect with peers and civilians in a safe, supportive environment.
Honoring service: Old uniforms are repurposed into something meaningful and lasting.
