On July 6, starting at 11am, the “Real Deal Day” Veterans Outreach Event will take place at the Samuel R. Shelton VFW Post #2294 (98 Oak St, Jersey City, NJ 07304). Various agencies will be there, providing:

• Free haircuts and lunch
• Help in ID/Driver’s License/DD214 applications
• Emergency and at-risk assistance, including housing
• Addiction and mental health services
• Aid with employment and accessing federal benefits.
