Knights of Heroes Foundation
About Knights of Heroes Foundation
Many of the challenges we face today can be tied to the absence of positive male mentorship in the lives of young men and women. Knights of Heroes empowers children who have lost a parent in service to our Nation, by providing positive adult mentorship, character development, and lasting friendships, which are forged through outdoor adventure programs. KOH hosts families with common losses allowing them to share experiences and build relationships while increasing public awareness and ensuring that families with losses are not forgotten with the passage of time.
The Knights of Heroes Foundation believes in investing in the lives of our campers in a way no other program does. Knights of Heroes is a family. Building relationships between our campers, moms and mentors is the cornerstone of our program. Our hope is that our campers will remain engaged and enthusiastic about KOH for many years.
We offer year-round programming. Our signature event is the annual, one-week summer camp. This event includes a boys camp, girls camp, moms program and younger sibling program. In order to remain engaged with our families throughout the year, we offer spring, fall and winter retreats. For our graduates, we offer a “Reality Check” graduate retreat in August. Many of our graduates return to KOH as mentors.

Graduate Retreat – July 30-August 2
